TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – PART OF HOUGHTON
LANE, NORTH HOUGHTON
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire
County Council (being the Traffic Authority) proposes to make an Order to allow for drainage works in the carriageway, as
follows:-
ROAD
TO BE CLOSED C17
Houghton Lane at North Houghton between Stevens
Drove and Chapel Close
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE
From the northern point of the closure north along C17 Houghton Lane. East on A30 Salisbury Road
/ High Street, Stockbridge. South on A3057 Romsey Road. West on Horsebridge Lane.
North on Houghton Lane to the southern point of the closure and vice versa
PERIOD OF CLOSURE :
From Monday 22nd February 2010 for a period of 6 months or until completion of
the works whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above it is expected that the closure will be required
on various occasions to be signed on site during a 4 week period
Reasonable
facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out
