Spring and the Churchyard was overgrown.

Saturday May 24th. Spring was wet, the grass was overgrown and our new contractor was unable to start so a work party was assembled for a morning session. The day was warm and sunny and a band of parishioners, armed with various gardening implements, turned up to help.

A dozen villagers answered the call and showed what community spirit can achieve. Unfortunately several willing helpers do not appear in the pictures. They served up the tea and biscuits and were two of the most popular members of the work party.
